Liverpool v West Ham, Betting Preview & Prediction

LIVERPOOL v WEST HAM – Click here to bet

Liverpool are 2nd on the table despite taking just 1 win from their last 3 matches.  That came at home against Sheffield United where they won 2-1, prior to that they drew 2-2 away at Everton and were beaten 7-2 away by Villa.  They do have a 100% home record this season winning all 3 games and scoring 9 goals while conceding 5.

West Ham are 12th on the table and in their last 4 matches they have drawn twice and won twice, most recently getting a credible 1-1 home draw against Manchester City.  On the road they have scored 7 goals while conceding 5.

Liverpool won this fixture 3-2 last season and in the previous 2 meetings at Anfield scored 4 goals on each occasion.

BETTING

Liverpool 4/10

Draw 9/2

West Ham 23/4

Suggested Bet:  Handicap, Liverpool (-1), the draw @31/10

For this bet to arrive Liverpool need to win by 1 goal exactly and given that they are not quite on top form in my opinion and West Ham are playing well I think it is a very likely outcome.

Burnley v Tottenham, Betting Preview & Prediction

BURNLEY v TOTTENHAM – Click here to bet

Burnley got their first point of the season when they drew 0-0 with West Brom away last time out.  They lost their previous 3 matches including a 1-0 home defeat to Southampton.

They face a Tottenham side which sits 10th on the table and is undefeated in their last 4 matches.  They were disappointing at home last weekend blowing a 3 goal lead to draw 3 all with West Ham.  Prior to that they hammered Manchester United 6-1 on the road and their other away match was a 5-2 demolishing of Southampton.

Burnley held Tottenham to a 1-1 draw in this fixture and the reverse fixture going to Tottenham 5-0.

BETTING

Burnley 9/2

Draw 16/5

Tottenham 6/10

Suggested Bet:  First Goal Scorer, Harry Kane at 13/4

Kane has looked in excellent form this season and in a game where I am struggling to find an obvious bet this will give us a nice interest while we look for an in-running play.

Newcastle v Burnley, Betting Preview & Prediction

NEWCASTLE UNITED v BURNLEY – Click here to bet

Newcastle opened their campaign with a 2-0 away win at West Ham, but subsequent to that they lost at home to Brighton and drawn away at Tottenham.  They face a Burnley side that has lost both of their opening matches 4-2 away at Leicester and 1-0 at home to Southampton.

Looking at the head-to-head stats between these sides, goals tend to be hard to come and 5 of the last 6 games in the English Premier League have had under 2.5 goals in them.

BETTING

Newcastle United 15/10

Draw 43/20

Burnley 21/10

Suggested Bet:  Newcastle win at 15/10

I considered backing under 2.5 goals based on their head-to-head stats, but that was fairly short at 11/20 and the bet I prefer here is Newcastle to beat a Burnley side that looks in for a long hard season.

Man City v Leicester, Betting Preview & Prediction

MANCHESTER CITY v LEICESTER – Click here to bet

Manchester City have only played 1 game so far beating Wolves 3-1 away last weekend.  They now face Leicester who sit top of the table after a 4-2 home win over Burnley and a 3-0 away win over West Brom.

City did the double over Leicester last season winning 1-0 on the road and beating them 3-1 at home.

BETTING

Manchester City 3/10

Draw 5/1

Leicester 8/1

Suggested Bet:  Anytime Goal Scorer, Jamie Vardy at 41/20

City have rightly been priced as favourites here, but they are too short for my money and Leicester have shown enough to suggest they can get on the score sheet and if they do my money would be firmly on Vardy.

Crystal Palace v Everton, Betting Preview & Prediction

CRYSTAL PALACE v EVERTON – Click here to bet

Palace are riding high sitting 5th on the table after two matches, both of which were victories away to Manchester United last week and at home to Southampton.  They face an Everton side who also got off to a flying start and currently sit 2nd on the table having beaten West Brom 5-2 at home last week and Tottenham 1-0 on the road in their opening match.

This fixture finished goalless last season and Everton won 3-1 at home.

BETTING

Crystal Palace 27/10

Draw 47/20

Everton 11/10

Suggested Bet:  The draw at 47/20

Both sides are playing good football and the draw would have arrived in the last 3 home matches Palace have played against Everton.
